“Brunch at Lola’s Garden in Ardmore. We started with their apple beignets - round and crispy on the outside, moist and doughy on the inside with a slight apple cinnamon vibe - snowy powdered sugar on top. Served with berry jam and lemon curd for dipping. Pretty dang good for a place 1200 miles from Bourbon Street. My lovely dining companion had the smoked salmon avocado toast with a sunny egg on top, fluffy spring mix salad on the side. She’d”s had it before and loves the dish. The salad not so much.
