“You could be forgiven if you weren’t expecting to find Michelin-level modern Italian cuisine in a strip mall in Bluffton South Carolina. It is simply not forgivable to know that such cuisine exists and not pay a visit to Radici. The food is elevated and elegant but without superfluousness. There is both a depth of flavor and purity of ingredients. The ravioli di manzo is like being transported directly to Piemonte. Despite its richness, each bite evokes the same noises of pleasure and keeps me coming back. The branzino is made with pure wizardry. I’ve never had branzino with such a crispy skin” — Joe T
