“What a find --- discreetly hidden behind a subtle door in the Intercontinental's restaurant/bar, I found a brilliant little spot to have a good book in one hand and an exceptional beverage in the other. These were not your typical cocktails, and they were vastly superior to typical hotel drinks - Frankly, it feels a little wrong to even make such a comparison. As I always do when visiting a new place (assuming it's not too busy), I ask the bartender for "Dealer's choice - Something in the old-fashioned family, whiskey forward."
