“Mid City is a charming little restaurant tucked downtown with a menu built around small shareable plates, many of which carry subtle Asian-inspired influences. The atmosphere feels warm and approachable, helped in large part by an attentive staff who were quick with recommendations and kept everything moving at a great pace. Overall, the food was enjoyable and clearly well executed, though many of the dishes leaned a bit too heavily in the same rich, savory direction without enough contrast to make the flavors truly memorable.
