“The Quad might be the cutest little corner of Dallas, and Written by the Seasons is the anchor spot. The concept alone is dangerous. It’s seasonal ingredients, Michelin recognized credibility, the vibe is beautiful and the menu came from someone who threw a passport into a farmers market. We ordered the avocado and shrimp salad, tuna tartare, kimchi pancakes, salt cod fritters, and the build your own muhammara pizza. The tuna tartare was bright and fresh, paired with grapefruit, the shrimp salad was basically summer in a bowl, and you can add anything, fruit, veggie or whatever to this dressin” — Sara Govero
