“I’ve been to many steakhouses in my lifetime, from fine steakhouses to mom and pops, 1845 is easily in my top 3. We ordered the taste of Texas appetizer tray served on a butcher board with meatballs, fried quail, fried jalepenos and toasted bread topped smoked pork belly. The quail and pork belly toast were terrific, the meatballs were a little bit too sweet from the sauce. The jalapeños were pretty good. We ordered the Caesar salad, and that was made perfectly, not too heavy on the dressing and cheese, it was light and flavorful.
