“Whatever you do, do not order the French toast (Pain Perdu). It was extremely disappointing. It took about 30 minutes to arrive, and when it finally did, it was burnt on the bottom and very dry inside. It lacked the rich, custardy texture you expect—there was no real trace of egg in the bread. I’ve had French toast at other places where you can really taste that it’s been properly soaked in an egg mixture, but here it felt like the bread barely touched the egg mixture at all.
