What people say
“Refuge was the ending to the first date my boyfriend and I had 3 years ago, and a spot that will hold a very special place in our hearts. We used to love it for exemplary service, top notch cocktails, and a speakeasy like atmosphere. It felt like a little slice of Heaven amidst the craziness of the Houston bar scene, which is why I am still giving it 3 stars. However, that seems to have changed in recent history. Last time we were there, the lights were on, our reservation was delayed by 30 minutes and they tried to serve us cocktails while standing. The service has also been unprofessional an” — Jenna
