“Overall, we were somewhat satisfied with the meal, but it didn’t quite live up to expectations. We went on Valentine’s Day and paid $99 per person for the special menu (compared to their usual $68), so we were hoping for a more elevated experience. The biggest drawback was the pace. It felt like one of the more rushed omakase experiences I’ve had, and not in a smooth or intentional way (all courses served in ~35 mins, with almost no explaining of the dish).
