“Kaya delivers a modern interpretation of Filipino cuisine with moments of genuine excellence throughout the meal. The appetizers offered a strong introduction, particularly the lumpiang Shanghai, whose crisp exterior and savory filling made it both comforting and refined. The kinilaw, while fresh, lacked the balance and brightness we hoped for and was ultimately the least memorable dish of the evening. The standout starter was unquestionably the Bicol Express mussels.
