“We drove up from New York and were very excited to try Troop. We were all very hungry. We didn’t make reservations. The hostess told us that there was going to be a 20 minute wait. She did not take our name and left. After 10 minutes I spoke to a waitress and she said she would get a table for us. When she sat us there were 6 empty tables. During the duration of our meal NONE of them were used. WHY WAS THERE A 20 MINUTE WAIT? The space has a nice vibe and we love that it is black owned. The cocktails were way too sweet.
