“Finally got to try this place after living here for some time. After hearing rave reviews about their brunch, I was quite excited. Began with their famous fries and beignets - fries were ok, but the beignets had some kind of consistency and taste that didn’t feel right. It felt like clumps of dough they just fried. Their croque monsieur was classic enough. I got the duck confit with hash brown and egg. Those eggs were pillowy soft and delicious and Meritage does the sauces right, but the tomato drowns out everything else. Interesting to find a Dutch pancake on their menu, it was all right.
