“Extremely disappointing experience at Alvear Palace Hotel Buenos Aires, especially considering the premium pricing and reputation of the property. My wife and I arrived after a 14-hour international flight completely exhausted. Instead of being welcomed warmly, we were indirectly pressured into paying an additional USD 150 for an upgrade in order to receive our room immediately. When we declined, we were told to wait until the standard check-in time at 3 PM.
