“We had a fabulous time celebrating our honeymoon at Ashford Castle. The service and grounds were impeccable! A big highlight was our hawk walk with Miguel. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the birds. Other highlights included: strolling the grounds, the boat ride, breakfast in the dining room, live music in the drawing room, cocktails at the bar, and meeting the Irish wolfhounds. “We have been quite lucky to stay on few occasions and can honestly say each stay gets better and better. We only live 40 min away but once we take the turn into that long winding drive it’s like another world arriving at the castle. We especially like to visit pre Christmas as the lights and decorations are amazing. Our last stay was for 2 nights and we had a wonderful relaxing break. Anne McGahon in reservations made sure everything was on top off and even managed to take time to check up on us at breakfast. Both Cullens Cottage and the dungeon were great for dinner .
