“Amazing place. You are surrounded by lovely people, you feel special. Staff is always ready to help. Just ask...you will get an answer. Building is huge . There is a historical tour. Food so lovely, various. My room was big with big bathroom. It was warm & cosy. Bed was comfy. In my room was everything I needed. There are various SPA treatments, Gym & other activities.” — Monika V

“My wife, our friends, and I wanted to stay at this hotel after seeing that it was available for a few days. We thought it would be a great opportunity to relax and spend quality time together, especially since we were planning to spend a significant amount of money, over €15,000. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely unpleasant right from the arrival. When we reached the hotel gate, we were treated in a disrespectful manner, spoken to rudely and with contempt, and essentially denied entry without any proper explanation or professional attitude. “We have just come home from our 3rd stay at Ballyfin Demesne and it was probably our best experience so far. This hotel really does have to be experienced at least once. The staff will constantly tell you This is your home for the duration of your stay and they really do make every effort to ensure you feel welcome and relaxed while your there. Myself & my husband always feel we can unwind as soon as we arrive up to the gates of Ballyfin, and we have Never experienced a welcome as warm and genuine from any other hotel.
