“Rude staff and very mediocre service. We arrived in the afternoon by car but there was no bellman to help with the luggage, no valet for the car or anyone to even tell you were to park. The room was nice but the bed is so stiff with 4 flat and very uncomfortable pillows. The towels were so frayed and rough they hurt your skin and barely dry it. The view is nice but the balcony was filthy. The street noise kept waking us up. Breakfast had to be reserved before 23h if you want to pay the regular rate of 25€/person. “I stayed one night at Boscolo Lyon Hotel & Spa on Wednesday, 6 May, with my godson. The overall experience was mixed. The location is excellent and undoubtedly one of the hotel’s strongest assets. The staff was consistently pleasant, attentive, and accommodating throughout our stay. We also had dinner at the restaurant and the food was genuinely excellent. Our Superior room was spacious (around 35 sqm), which was appreciated, but the carpet and some furniture clearly showed signs of wear and would benefit from refurbishment. “Very disappointing, they should have customer service training. They wake me up at 1am at night to move the car. Even though my car requires additional security they forced to park it somewhere else at 1am at night even though we were leaving at 8am.
