“3.5 is likely the right rating. My wife and I stayed for a romantic getaway. Great location and beach. The property is gorgeous. Most of the team members are wonderful and friendly. Simply put, for the price point of the stay with additional resort fees and $25 pina coladas, it shouldn't be "most" team members. The food and drinks are very expensive for the quality. “Fantastic stay here with great service, a beautiful pool, convenient location, and friendly resident cats! We had the most basic garden view room, and didn’t feel like we missed anything. Maybe there are incredible suites tucked away somewhere else but it seems all the “bungalows” are all just 3 stories and all close together, so even the top floor ocean view rooms seemed similar in privacy relative to the basic ground floor garden view. “Expecting a high level of service to match the price point. Unfortunately, our experience fell short in several important ways. Upon arrival, we were told that neither early check-in nor an upgrade—both listed as benefits on Amex—were available.
