“My partner and I stayed here in March 2026, (off peak) and were initially a little hesitant after reading some mixed reviews online. This was soon swept away after arriving on the island. We were greeted with necklaces, mimosas and warm smiles. Our room was a coral sea view room and this was definitely worth the upgrade for us with a beautiful view of the ocean and islands (block out curtains would be a valuable addition to these east facing rooms as we were up very early involuntarily due to the very bright sun!) “Exceptional Stay at Daydream Island Resort! Our stay at Daydream Island Resort was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The resort itself is stunning—beautiful views, relaxing atmosphere, and everything you need for the perfect island getaway. We stayed in room 1109, the Superior Ocean King room and it was perfect. “I stayed at Daydream with my partner in April. I hadn’t read reviews but quite frankly, everyone’s opinion is theirs only so I like to make up my own mind. I enjoyed the ferry ride over from Airlie Beach and the reception area/lobby is lovely. We both found the rooms had everything we needed and were clean. We looked out onto the pool area and had cockys on our balcony which I loved as they are such characters. It was nice to wake up each morning to their greeting.
