The service was outstanding, and every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and helpful. During our stay, I asked for assistance making a reservation at a nail salon for two people, and the team efficiently arranged a convenient appointment time for us. “Our stay at Grand Hyatt Taipei was a mix of emotions. The experience unfortunately started with a very disappointing check-in interaction with one of the staff members. We have already exchanged emails with the hotel regarding this matter. It was not our intention to escalate the issue further, but we believe it is important for the hotel to be mindful that individual behavior can affect the overall impression of an otherwise well-known property. “Stayed here for 4 nights and overall had a good experience. The hotel was clean, the room felt worth the price, and the gym was very well-equipped. The location is super convenient close to the metro and very near Taipei 101, which made getting around easy. A personal note: on my first night, the TV in my room turned on by itself 3 times, which was definitely a strange and slightly scary experience 😅 Thankfully, nothing else happened after that.
