“Pros: Hotel is in a very nice location and has a lovely view of the river and the Ponte Vecchio. Staff was very nice, but several seemed a bit less professional than other similar hotels. Cons: Walls are very thin, you can literally hear the conversations and bathroom business of other guests in the room above you. We were unable to turn the thermostat below 26 (79'F) the first night, and had to ask the concierge the next day to remove whatever lock they have on the thermostat to actually have the room be a comfortable temperature. “Benefits: the location is stellar. Love being able to walk just about anywhere you’d like in Florence. We had a wonderful time going to stores and shopping around. Additionally the internet worked well. The elevator will fit three people shoulder to shoulder with no bags. Interesting check in process. The attention to detail really stood out, along with the top-notch cleanliness of every space.
