“Gorgeous boutique hotel in an incredibly old building and the back terrace faces onto an important historic square with local activity. Loved everything; the room was beautiful, the bed and sheets incredibly comfortable (didn't want to ever get out of bed), the bathroom and shower design gorgeous. We loved the roof and the hotel restaurant's food was really delicious. Lots of little perks made us feel special on our anniversary. Highly recommended if you love a boutique hotel with contemporary touches, comfort and elegance, this one is right up there.” — Robert Kingsbury

“Great location and lovely room but the restaurant service lets it down. Staff not overly welcoming, waited over an hour for our breakfast order. When checked with the staff we were told we haven’t ordered even though the waiter had repeated back our order at the time of ordering. At check out the receptionist was dealing with two other people and we felt rushed out, wasn’t asked how our stay was. We did have a nice lunch at the restaurant but again the service wasn’t great. The roof top area is really nice but if you’re looking for a peaceful time up there don’t stay in a weekday as the school” — Sian Thomas
