“Stayed here for 2 nights on my recent trip and was underwhelmed to say the least. I stayed at the Grand Hyatt prior to this and preferred that hotel to this. First off, I will say that the location is excellent and would be the only reason you should consider staying here. The rooms are pretty good size so can’t complain there. The hotel has a dark vibe, the hallways are dark and the rooms as well. As another review said, they are way too strict on the late check out policy even with high status. Other hotels have me 4pm check out without even asking. Again, this is with hotel status. The serv” — Oliver Lee
“Taiwan is a destination built on convenience and practicality - qualities that savvy travelers come here expecting to find reflected in their accommodations too. Unfortunately, this hotel delivers on neither front, and at US$400 per night, that’s a hard pill to swallow. Let’s start with the basics. The breakfast is underwhelming for a property at this price point - uninspired and forgettable. The rooms are awkwardly designed, with see-through bathroom walls that sacrifice privacy for a questionable aesthetic choice, and a layout that wastes usable space in ways that will frustrate anyone spend” — Qi Zeng
“Better-late-than-never review. Pro: Location is great Con: 1. Marriot Elite membership feels useless 2. No early check in or check out, unless you pay a fee. They are very strict about that, this is something that I have never experienced as a Titanium member at any other Marriott locations, most locations would waive those fees. 3. Breakfast is a la carte, members don't have complimentary breakfast 4. Rooms are pretty in pictures, but rather old, musty and cramped in real life; shower is smack in the middle of the bathroom, you have to walk from the toilet THROUGH the shower to get to the tub” — Tina Yang
