“Excellent staff at Reception and the Restaurant (waitress Kotomi is amazing!). Food was delicious, and they had plenty of options for us as vegetarians. We loved the cleanliness and modern design of the room. Fantastic bathroom, beautiful design of the shower and very satisfying shower pressure. Very practical location right opposite the Ferry terminal. We would have highly appreciated a sauna/wellness area during our stay for relaxation, and are wondering if that could be a possible addition for the future.” — Jo Gnad

“My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful long weekend staying at InterContinental Auckland to celebrate our mini-honeymoon! From the get-go the staff were absolutely fantastic. We got a complimentary upgrade to a higher level room, free drinks voucher upon arrival as our room wasn't quite ready (only a 10 minute delay so the drinks were not expected!) and a lovely sweet treat as a welcome gift. The valet and concierge team were also very friendly and welcoming. Staff was welcoming and accomodating, was checked in by 12:30pm, offered a room upgrade, received a complimentary treat, used $100 USD credit ($170 NZD) for valet and food at their restaurant (reservation recommended).
