“We had a wonderful stay at the Kimpton RiverPlace Hotel, and what really stood out was the exceptional customer service. Every staff member we interacted with was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make us and our dog feel at home. That level of hospitality made a lasting impression. The location is fantastic, especially if you’re traveling with a dog. The waterfront is beautiful, and having the park right next door made morning and evening walks so easy and enjoyable. “If you’re looking for a prime spot in Portland, the Kimpton RiverPlace Hotel is hard to beat. Its location is definitely its biggest selling point. Being right on the water and next to the park makes for beautiful morning and evening walks. Plus, you’re within easy walking distance of several great restaurants and local eating options. The hotel itself is on the smaller side, which gives it a quiet, relaxed atmosphere that never feels too busy or crowded. “MATTHEW was lovely and made the check-in experience a pleasure; he was very welcoming. The second floor cottage room overlooking the river is great for spaciousness (a little aged) and hotel location next to the riverwalk is great (downtown is an easy walk away). Staying for two nights (currently on night one). Valet is rather overpriced ($60/night), but optimist food will be good tomorrow.” — D Mani
