La Mirande Hotel Avignon

“It's a lovely hotel with so much history. The location was great and we could walk to everything in the walled city, as well as the local train station and bus stops. The TGV station was a short cab ride away, so it's very central. The breakfast was delicious each morning! We also enjoyed the courtyard, afternoon tea and a drink in the bar area in the evenings. All of the staff were very helpful, especially Anthony at the front desk. We're very happy we stayed at La Mirande while in Avignon!” — Mary Ellen Bauman

“La Mirande is a gorgeous hotel with a perfect location in Avignon. When I first arrived I was given a room that was so incredibly beautiful it felt like the room of a queen. Unfortunately, there was a plumbing issue underneath my bathroom that precipitated me needing to be moved to another room. While the staff was incredibly courteous and attentive to me during this issue, the updated room I was moved to was much darker and had a musty smell - not quite as on par with the original room. “Lovely hotel, beautiful rooms and super friendly helpful staff. Perfect location. Really enjoyed the rooms: not cookie cutter but pleasingly quirky while still luxurious. I advise having the hotel arrange a car to pick you up from the airport or station as central Avignon is tough to navigate on arrival.” — Peter
