“The hotel was great, with fine dining in both restaurants. Rooms were very nice and well laid out. Overall very charming. Service was good generally in the hotel, less so in the spa. Issues were: - dining staff in the rotisserie were overly obsequious. a bit more natural behaviour without all the "bonne continuation" bonne degustation" and smiles as if you were their best friend ever (sic). I am generally an easy-going guest and was happy with my stay despite a few issues. However, my experience ended on a disappointing note when I was asked at checkout to leave a tip for housekeeping and reception, with suggested amounts of 10%, 15%, or 25%.
