“I would not recommend staying here during cruise ship season. Hoards of people everywhere. The hotel is connected to the cruise ship terminal and there is some sort of association as there were people and piles of luggage everywhere from cruise ship passengers. The gym is very oddly located 2 elevator rides and a walk outside the building near the parkade. I got caught in the throng of thousands of people getting off the ship when I tried to leave the gym. We got a harbor view room which has a spectacular view but don’t forget your ear plugs as the sea planes, while very cool, start early and ” — Terri Healy

“I had an absolutely incredible stay at the Pan Pacific Hotel. From the moment I checked in, the service was unbelievable. I have accessibility needs and use a wheelchair, although I am also able to walk short distances. The lovely lady at check-in was so thoughtful and gave me the option of either an accessible room or another room, depending on what worked best for me. I really appreciated being given that choice instead of having assumptions made for me. I ended up choosing the non-accessible room because it was absolutely phenomenal. “Should not be listed as a 5 star hotel. It’s got some things going for it but likely would not stay there again. It was very convenient for transferring to the cruise terminal and the view is nice, however this convenience should not allow management to skimp on what should otherwise be a luxury hotel. First, way too many flies in the restaurant dining room. Second, room service dishes were piled outside of several neighboring rooms and not picked up even after checking out 2 days later. I even called the front desk to remind them as a courtesy and nothing was done. I’ve stayed at budget hotel” — Jayanth Dasika
