“what did we like? honestly, everything. i’ve stayed at shangri-la sydney before for my partner’s 21st birthday, so i just had to come back and bring my mum to spoil her. it ended up being such an incredible experience from start to finish. we originally booked a deluxe opera house city king room but were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to the executive opera house room on check-in, which made the stay feel extra special. the room itself was stunning with unreal views and just the perfect place to relax and take it all in. we also loved heading up to blu bar 36 for an espresso martini ” — madison wise
