Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour

“A good but not great hotel in my opinion. Exceptionally quiet, but seemed like there were not many people here during my stay. This was my first trip to Auckland so I can't compare ot to other options in the area. Maybe just my opinion but had kind of an odd feel to the atmosphere. Executive club was a bit disappointing and underwhelming compared to other hotel clubs I have visited. Overall, not bad, but not exceptional compared to other high end hotels I have stayed with. One negitive, was the WiFi, at least in my room, during my stay, it was very bad.” — Eric Coy

“Part of a working group that spent 2 days (and 2 nights) at the Sofitel AKL. We were well taken care of. The staff were attentive and helpful but gave us plenty of space. The room was ideal for the 12 of us, the catering was on point and everyone enjoyed the location to town and for walks etc. Well equipped Gym and good pool. “The Sofitel was by far the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Auckland. The room was amazing, the room service was excellent, and the valet parking made everything so easy. The restaurant, La Marée, was next level — the Croupe d'agneau lamb dish was absolutely incredible and one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The swimming pool and gym were spotless and very well maintained, and the café, French Press, served some of the best café food in New Zealand, and the coffee was delicious.
