“Location is amazing. One of the most beautiful views on the planet, in my opinion. A luxury lodge there would be the ultimate, iconic destination. Sadly, management is intent to succeed at the impossible task to make the experience there way less than optimal. We were sold a luxury experience, and it was anything but that. Luxury means bespoke and individual experiences. The lodge does not provide that, but a glorified and super expensive industrial tourism experience. Activities are in large groups, ten or more. “This is a very remote place in South Australia, good for seeing kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, seals and sea lions, with a great view to the Southern Ocean. The lodge has 25 rooms but feels much more crowded since there is only one dining room where everybody eats in the same time, and space is designed in such way that it feels crowded. The tours to see the animals are in big groups so the experience does not feel exclusive. There is absolutely no luxury feel in the experience, if this is what you expect when you pay one pf the top rates of any hotel in the world. So hugely overpriced in my op” — GreenSpace
