“The Barcelona EDITION is the move if you want design-forward and central without it feeling like a chain. We had a room with a private terrace looking out over the rooftops, loungers, and bougainvillea climbing the screens; the kind of outdoor space you actually use instead of just photographing. Service was sharp, the rooftop and bar scene downstairs is genuinely good, and the location puts you walking distance to most of the old city. Book a terrace room if you can. “After a long drive from San Sebastián and challenges finding the narrow street in city traffic, we had an outstanding night in the hotel celebrating 15 yr anniversary. The city view from rooftop bar is excellent, and the central location and hotel staff provided an outstanding experience. They went above and beyond, especially Shaina at the front desk. She offered us a lovely special occasion anniversary dinner at the rooftop bar and even had a colleague send chocolates and a special set up with balloons in our room to celebrate us, which we were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed very much upon” — Jose
