“I need to give a huge shoutout to this gem of a hotel. We have received the most amazing and compassionate service during our stay here. Shortly after my family checked in, we realized we had a lost a small tote bag. Hotel reception helped us to call a shopping center we had visited but no luck. We counted the tote bag as lost. I was surprised when later the same front desk personnel found me in the hotel lounge and asked if we may have left the bag in the taxi we took to the hotel. The lounge offers a direct view of the pagoda, and being able to enjoy that scenery alongside the rare sight of snowfall in Kyoto made the experience especially memorable.
