“Ok so we decided to try St Regis for a change. It was our first time in Chicago and it is walking distance from a lot of Landmarks. Save yourself some money and stay elsewhere. The rooms are spacious and beds and linens and towels are good quality. The staff and the service is beyond lacking. The day we arrived, they told me about their complimentary car that takes you within a certain mile radius. There is only one car and the car was never available to us during the four days of our stay. “I recently stayed at The St. Regis Chicago and, while the rooms are undeniably beautiful and luxurious, the overall experience did not meet expectations. The accommodations themselves are stunning, well designed, elegant, and comfortable. Unfortunately, the service fell far short of the brand’s reputation. During my stay, the valet misplaced my car keys and there was no apology offered when they were eventually located. That lack of accountability was disappointing.
