Four Seasons Hotel Chicago

Had an amazing stay at the Four Seasons Chicago. Kristen does a great job at creating a wonderful experience for guests with her team. Stacy at Adorn was such a warm server. She remembered the kids names, things they liked and their food preferences. Victoria was also warm and friendly with our kids. The front door men were so helpful and friendly. Kids club wasn’t huge, but the kids enjoyed playing the arcade games and open ended toys like magna tiles. The pool was perfect for our family to relax and end the day. Also, the location was perfect for shopping and easy to get to the Museum of SciRichard Woo

Park Hyatt Chicago

I booked a stay at the Park Hyatt for my April 2026 wedding. I stayed there for my rehearsal dinner night, the morning of my wedding, for me and all of my girls to get ready, and then my husband and I stayed there for our wedding night. The Park Hyatt has the perfect location, right off Michigan Avenue and close to Holy Name Cathedral, where we got married. The staff was very helpful with all of our bridal deliveries on the morning of our wedding, which were many. The suite was also perfect. We had so much space. Plenty of space for me (the bride), five other women, and then one makeup artist Ashley Martens

The Peninsula Chicago

The Peninsula Chicago is one of those rare hotels that actually lives up to the reputation. Every detail feels intentional — from the cleanliness standards to the way the staff anticipates needs before you even ask. It has a very serious approach to hospitality, but never in a stiff or pretentious way. Everything simply runs smoothly and feels polished. What stands out most is that it delivers a true five-star experience while still occasionally offering surprisingly reasonable room rates if you book strategically. That combination is hard to find. It genuinely feels worth traveling for, even Mike Berman

We stayed at Waldorf Astoria Chicago for a staycation to celebrate my husband’s birthday and had such a wonderful experience. The front desk staff was absolutely amazing and even surprised us with a room upgrade, which made the stay feel extra special. Our room was beautiful with gorgeous views, and everything felt clean, comfortable, and luxurious. We also had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious. The location is perfect — right in the Gold Coast with so many great restaurants and shops nearby. We couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate. Highly recommend and would dJenny I

This beautiful hotel offers modern and comfortable rooms in an excellent location. The in room toiletries were top-notch, and the complimentary coffee in the lobby made for a convenient start to each day. Unfortunately, the street noise was significant and made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep, despite us being on a high floor. While improved soundproofing may be challenging in a historic building, the hotel could explore working with neighbourhood and city officials to address late night noise in the area. In the meantime, providing room sound masking machines or white noise devices wI H

We recently did a staycation in Chicago at the beautiful The St. Regis Chicago, and the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the level of service, attention to detail, and overall hospitality truly set this hotel apart. The property itself is stunning—elegant, modern, and impeccably maintained—but what really makes the St. Regis special is the incredible staff who make you feel genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout your stay. One of the highlights of our visit was spending time at Miru, the hotel’s fantastic restaurant and bar. We enjoyed brunchSteven Stein

Currently staying here for my daughter’s birthday. While the hotel staff is mostly friendly…the hotel itself is just OK. We booked a room with two queen beds… we do not have a room with two queen beds, two full beds maybe.. but definitely not queen. Our room came with an ironing board but no iron. We also were put into a handicapped accessible room…that said the bath tub/shower area is not ideal. The shower head is not good. Very small “wand” style and you can barely get clean. The water pressure is not good..but at least the water was hot. Bathrooms don’t have a fan in them and the door doesnEmB

Canopy by Hilton Chicago Central Loop

Stayed here Friday night after The Scratch concert and honestly expected a much more premium experience from a Hilton-branded property. The hotel markets itself as modern, upscale, and curated — but the actual experience felt more like “expensive with mood lighting.” For the price, I expected comfort, attention to detail, and service that justified the rate. Instead, it felt underwhelming and oddly disconnected for a hotel trying this hard to feel boutique. The concert was incredible. Unfortunately, the hotel was the low point of the evening.Kenneth Smith

FHR in Chicago — FAQ

How many Fine Hotels + Resorts properties are in Chicago?

There are 25 luxury properties in Chicago bookable through a card collection — Amex Fine Hotels + Resorts, The Hotel Collection, Chase The Edit or Capital One Premier — this page shows the all 25. Each earns you perks like daily breakfast, a property credit and room upgrades on top of your room rate.

Which card gives the best hotel benefit in Chicago?

It depends on the property. Amex Platinum (FHR) adds daily breakfast, a ~$100 credit and 4pm checkout with no minimum stay. Chase Sapphire Reserve (The Edit) and Capital One Venture X (Premier) add similar perks with a two-night minimum. Many Chicago hotels appear in more than one collection, so book through whichever card gives you the richest credit.

Must I book a prepaid rate to trigger the property credit?

For Amex FHR, no — the on-property credit applies to any FHR-booked stay through Amex Travel. For The Hotel Collection and Chase's The Edit, book the standard collection rate through the card's own travel portal (not a third-party site) and the credit, breakfast and upgrade post automatically at checkout.

Do I need to log into Amex or Chase to see these hotels?

No. This page lists every participating Chicago property publicly so you can plan first. When you're ready to book, open a hotel's page for direct portal links.
