“Stayed at the Thompson Hotel for my wife’s birthday. We received a warm welcome even in the middle of rush hour. The room had a contemporary look with a beautiful neighborhood view. The hotel is located in a posh area with many great eateries nearby. However, we ended up spending most of our time at the hotel - enjoying drinks at the rooftop bar and having a fine dining experience at Marsh House. “Room 1027 at the Thompson Nashville was a very enjoyable stay overall. The room is modern, thoughtfully designed, and has a clean, upscale feel without being overdone. One detail I really appreciated was the full-length mirror—it’s a small touch, but extremely useful when getting ready, especially for evenings out. I also liked the flooring. Instead of wall-to-wall carpet, the room features a wood-style tile floor with an area rug, which made the space feel cleaner and more elevated. “Preface, I have been a Marriott loyalist for many years, have lifetime status with Marriott, and stay over 100 nights per year in a hotel. Recently, on a trip to Houston, TX, I had some issues with a Marriott hotel and checked out early and checked in to the Hyatt Regency Galleria.
