“Going into our stay, I really wanted to like Villa Copenhagen, but unfortunately it fell pretty flat. We booked through Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts, and I reached out in advance to confirm a few details. I also flagged some mistakes how some of the rooms were listed on a third-party site. The response I received felt oddly defensive and almost implied the issue was my fault, which was not a great first impression. Check-in was also a mess. “My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon while visiting Copenhagen for a week. Absolutely incredible hotel- we will stay here again the next time we visit. We were upgraded to the Deluxe Suite because of our AMEX membership. The room was spacious, clean, and modern, the beds very comfortable. The bathroom vanity was perfect for getting ready. The turn down service was lovely, and we appreciated how quickly they gave us new towels and fresh water for our night stand. “We LOVED our stay here! The building is extremely beautiful and courtyard and rooms match that. Heated pool and sauna are very enjoyable, and while not at the level of a commercial one, the hotel gym has an above average equipment selection available. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, everyone from Check in, to concierge, restaurant or breakfast service. The courtyard restaurant's food was good, though a bit pricy. Unfortunately Rug restaurant is closed for dinner on Sundays, while we were staying here. The room was also good, though personally I dislike the lack of privacy of bathroom” — T Meuter
