“My friend and I spent a week at Villa Marie last summer. I had heard good things about the hotel from so we were excited to try it. The property is pretty but was not for us. Check-in: Staff at reception were nice and check-in was relatively quick. Our room was not ready, so we had lunch at the restaurant while we waited. Staff: Aside from reception, we did not find the staff to be over friendly or helpful. If you wanted or needed anything, it was up to us to ask, and even then, it could take several requests before you got what you needed. In the week we spent there, we were never approached ” — C W
