“Pros: Great location in downtown Austin ,you really can’t beat it. The facilities are nice, and the rooms are modern and comfortable. We appreciated the upgrade they kindly offered us. Cons: Service was noticeably slow and it felt like they were understaffed. We arrived around 4 PM and our room wasn’t ready until about 5:30 PM, which felt pretty late. Dinner at their on-site restaurant was also inconsistent. Our waiter wasn’t very attentive — no greeting and no initial drink order — so we ended up going to the bar ourselves for sodas. “I was thinking about returning back to JW Marriott but chose the W this time. First time at this location. Valet is your first red carpet experience, then i walked into a beautiful lobby where i received phenomenal service, wow 🤩 A+. My room was cherry on top. It is absolutely perfect to my standards and taste. Elegant 💯 it was classic with a fantastic view. I loved the shower too. I had stayed at the W in London and Rome and Ft Lauderdale but this was my jaw dropping one. Stunning indeed!
