“Pros: Great location in downtown Austin ,you really can’t beat it. The facilities are nice, and the rooms are modern and comfortable. We appreciated the upgrade they kindly offered us. Cons: Service was noticeably slow and it felt like they were understaffed. We arrived around 4 PM and our room wasn’t ready until about 5:30 PM, which felt pretty late. Dinner at their on-site restaurant was also inconsistent. Our waiter wasn’t very attentive — no greeting and no initial drink order — so we ended up going to the bar ourselves for sodas. “Great stay at the hotel using Amex credit and we had our valet, food and bev credits and more. The 4th floor restaurant and pool is a must visit and so relaxing with great city views. And the rooms were comfortable - we slept well despite the hotel being near 6th st (party street). There were complimentary earplugs provided but we didn’t need them.
