At check in, the receptionist thoughtfully suggested upgrading to a family room and it was absolutely worth it. The space was beautifully designed, and the bunk beds were a highlight for our kids… they were obsessed! The attention to detail in the room was next-level. “Had an excellent dining experience at Zijin Mansion. The restaurant offers refined Cantonese cuisine with subtle Hakka influences in a very elegant and intimate setting. The quality of ingredients and attention to detail throughout the meal were outstanding. Standout dishes included the Iberico char siu, double-boiled chicken soup, pan-fried lobster, and steamed soon hock, all prepared with balanced flavors and great precision. “There’s another wonderful Waldorf property in Asia for Waldorf Astoria. Very interesting hotel from the outside fairly non-descriptive but on the inside it’s like a Chinese lacquer box with red and black lacquer everywhere. It’s quite beautiful. The facilities are great. The pool and hot tub are fantastic. The workout area is basic but fine. They just lack a sauna, but they do have Steam room. The staff is very attentive.
