“Great property and got lots of credits and other stuff that totaled almost $1,000 for our 4 night stay. If you have a Chase card, definitely book with them as you get 2 cents per point redeeming, and has a fair price on there. Breakfast is amazing, but if you don’t have breakfast credits be ready for it to be quite expensive. Room service does have a 20% fee which they didn’t tell you about beforehand, so be aware of that. “Oceana Santa Monica LXR is a very nice hotel overall. Most of the staff we interacted with were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The room was excellent. We originally booked a base room but were upgraded to a one-bedroom suite. The space felt thoughtfully curated and stylish — you can tell real effort was put into the design, which makes it stand out from many standard American hotels. If paying cash, the hotel feels a bit overpriced, but I would say a fair value would be around $500–$600 per night. We redeemed a free night stay, which made the experience feel well worth it. “IMPORTANT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO: We stayed in a one bedroom suite on the second floor. The price for the room was $$$$$$$. With this in mind, we were hoping for a nice, quiet room with a view of the ocean. NO. Did not happen. YOU NEED TO KNOW that your room may be right next to the lobby lounge outdoor deck and there is music and loud talking while they are open. There are also musicians and others that are right outside of your window (technically on the public beach) that are singing, playing the trumpet, keyboards and VERY LOUD all the time. “We had the most incredible stay at the proper hotel. One of favorite meals was at the rooftop restaurant was the delicious lobster salad served by kind and knowledgeable people The rooms were spacious well appointed There were a lot of hight tech gadgets that did almost everything for you The highlight of our stay was the autonomy foods matcha latte which was provided in our room. “For having not that great of a reviews on Google I thought this place was exceptionally delicious!
