As someone who works in the service industry, I have incredibly high standards, but the team at the Four Seasons Hong Kong completely blew me away. The level of attentiveness here is unmatched. The staff genuinely preempts your needs before you even have to ask. A massive shoutout to Simon, Ken, James, and the rest of the front-of-house team on duty during our stay. Right before we left for the airport, they noticed I needed to pack all my new shopping into my bags. Instead of letting me scramble in the middle of the lobby, they immediately guided me to a quiet, private corner to pack comfortaJeslyn Tien

I am a repeated customer of Mandarin Oriental Hotels and stayed in different Asian locations before. When I made plans to visit Hong Kong, Mandarin Oriental was the choice. Even though I booked this stay as a surprise weekend trip for our first anniversary, my partner couldn’t make it due to changes in his work. I ended up staying by myself but everything was great. They still celebrated my anniversary and I enjoyed all the celebratory gifts i received. I had a very memorable and pleasant stay. Staff were very hospitable and kind. Especially house keeping stuff helped me a lot with small problnmine meydan

The hotel is very luxurious, elegant, and exceptionally clean. From the lobby to the rooms, everything was well-maintained and comfortable, making the entire experience feel relaxing and premium. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. It made getting around so much easier during our trip. Breakfast buffet has great selection of food, and I especially loved the hakaw and dumplings. Another thing worth mentioning is the pool area. The view from there was absolutely stunning and created such a relaxing atmosphere, especially Jonah Rozelle Flores

The harbour view from the room was beautiful. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice. We splashed out on club and enjoyed the views whilst having a calm dinner buffet that was very welcome after a long day of walking around the sights of Hong Kong. 2 x Metro and ferry terminals are a 5-10 mins easy walk. As a Londoner, this is super close and convenient but I gather that Hong Kongers can consider this far! Service was good and courteous. Attentive without being cloying. I had to ask for housekeeping assistance after being ill in the night (which was mortifying for me) but made much eaKarmen Watson

Best concierge team I’ve encountered so far!! From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive—but what truly impressed me was how they handled an unexpected situation. Imagine landing in HK on the first day of your trip, only to realize while checking in that you left your wallet on the plane……I was completely stressed and didn’t know what to do, but the concierge team immediately stepped in and coordinated with both the airport and airline staff to help track it down. They kept updating me throughout the process and reassured me the entire time. Thanks tKrongkwan Rangsriwong

Regent Hong Kong

I think this is my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Hong Kong. Every time I visit Hong Kong, what I love most is the view of Victoria Harbour. There’s something so special about walking along the harbourfront at night and taking in the incredible skyline. This stay was especially memorable because the hotel is located right on the harbourfront, making it incredibly convenient to go for a walk by the water whenever I wanted. The best part was being able to enjoy a completely unobstructed front-row view of Victoria Harbour directly from my room. Whether it was during the day or at night, thVictoria Hung

We recently enjoyed a wonderful 2-night leisure staycation at The Murray, Hong Kong, a Niccolo Hotel, and I can’t recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, the service and atmosphere were world-class. A special highlight was the excellent lounge service provided by Tara and Angel. Their warm, attentive, and professional hospitality made every visit to the lounge a true pleasure. They anticipated our needs, offered great recommendations, and ensured we felt completely pampered throughout my stay. Truly, they elevated the entire experience - supported by the lounge's Ruinart Champagne freMarty

The St. Regis Hong Kong

Hong Kong, China

We had an excellent experience staying at the St Regis Hong Kong this month. The property was what we'd expect as a five-star hotel. The room was large, immaculate clean and beautifully furnished. There was shower and a huge soaking bathtub which we took full advantage of. We're offered complementary breakfast as platinum elite member. Breakfast was ordered a la carte style, everything was made to order. This was an elevated experience comparing to the typical buffet breakfast. The real highlight that distinguishes St Regis from the other hotels was the staff members and their services. EveryoStephen Lam

Conrad Hong Kong

We stayed in the Conrad Hong Kong over New Year. I think the staff in the hotel are excellent. When you raise a query they will resolve it quickly, efficiently and with courtesy. The people make the place. Our room was on the 60th floor and came with lounge access. The lounge is a real let down. It is cramped and i thought the food offering was pretty poor compared to that offered by, for example, Shangri La and was almost embarrassing in relation especially to the Shangri La hotels right across the frontier border in Shenzhen. In fact, I'd say that's the biggest problem this hotel has. Quite G C

The Langham, Hong Kong

Previously stayed at Regent, can only say Langham is not deserving of its 5 star status. Location: It was definitely more than a 2mins walk as per stated on their website from the nearest train station. It’s a long underground walk. Also, it’s located at the end of a road, so it’s quite a hassle to walk about TST because you’ll need to cross an underground to get to the other side. Going to Harbour City is convenient though. Service: Being a Ruby member (highest membership tier) you’re in no way recognised and no upgrades at all. Only pro is you’ll get late check-out which was not required forB T

FHR in Hong Kong — FAQ

How many Fine Hotels + Resorts properties are in Hong Kong?

There are 22 luxury properties in Hong Kong bookable through a card collection — Amex Fine Hotels + Resorts, The Hotel Collection, Chase The Edit or Capital One Premier — this page shows the all 22. Each earns you perks like daily breakfast, a property credit and room upgrades on top of your room rate.

Which card gives the best hotel benefit in Hong Kong?

It depends on the property. Amex Platinum (FHR) adds daily breakfast, a ~$100 credit and 4pm checkout with no minimum stay. Chase Sapphire Reserve (The Edit) and Capital One Venture X (Premier) add similar perks with a two-night minimum. Many Hong Kong hotels appear in more than one collection, so book through whichever card gives you the richest credit.

Must I book a prepaid rate to trigger the property credit?

For Amex FHR, no — the on-property credit applies to any FHR-booked stay through Amex Travel. For The Hotel Collection and Chase's The Edit, book the standard collection rate through the card's own travel portal (not a third-party site) and the credit, breakfast and upgrade post automatically at checkout.

Do I need to log into Amex or Chase to see these hotels?

No. This page lists every participating Hong Kong property publicly so you can plan first. When you're ready to book, open a hotel's page for direct portal links.
