“I had an amazing stay at the Hilton Sydney on Saturday night with my family. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel was very easy to drive to, and the valet parking was a fantastic start to our stay. We were greeted with a warm smile and outstanding service. I believe our valet's name was Vic, and he was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, giving us great recommendations on where to eat and dance in the city. “I had a great stay overall. I wasn’t very familiar with hotels in Australia, and in my experience Hiltons can vary a lot by region, with some feeling very luxurious in Southeast Asia or the Middle East, while being more average in the U.S. This property felt much closer to the higher standards you find in Southeast Asia. The staff were very friendly and efficient, and the executive lounge was a real highlight with a good selection and quality of snacks, better than what I’ve typically experienced in Europe or North America, even if not quite on the same level as Southeast Asia. “We stayed here for two nights (Feb 13-15) prior to a cruise, in a Twin Deluxe room on the 40th floor. The public spaces of this hotel are very nice, and the location is excellent for shopping and dining, not to mention the variety of transit options nearby (with the light rail right outside). We felt that the room was pretty standard, but perfectly nice. We had a great city view of Town Hall, the QVB, and up George Street, and the technology and decor were all up to date.
