“We stayed here for our wedding anniversary. We were immediately greeted on property by a friendly welcome and congratulations were given on our anniversary. The staff was extremely kind and courteous during our arrival. They gave us a break down of how things functioned and a quick showing of the property. We were taken to our room via golf cart and had our bags brought into the room without asking. The room amenities were extremely nice; updated, private, and clean. “Greeted by the hotel valet with Lei’s which was beautiful. We were celebrating our anniversary and the hotel gifted us wine. The hotel room is modern and mostly cleaned. Inside the toilet seat, there was a stain, I wiped it with my cleaning products. There were some bugs in the room- that’s fine. We’re on an island I can’t expect it to be bug free. Pool services can be worked on. 2/3 times I visited the pool, there were no pool service tenants to set up the chairs with towels. “PJ and the boys at valet give the best service at the hotel. First impression is everything and before you even see the ocean or the property you see these guys. Professional, quick, and a pleasure to deal with. This is the reason this hotel gets a 5 star. The property was very nice and the pools were great. The private beach was also great. “Just spent 6 nights at Grand Wailea and I can see why it's one of the most talked-about resorts in Hawaii. The pool complex is the highlight of the property. Between the multiple pools, water slides, rope swing, and rapid slide, there is plenty to keep both kids and adults entertained. If you're traveling with family, it's hard to beat.
