“This hotel is just exceptional in every way. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights for his birthday, and we were absolutely blown away. The rooms are decorated to the highest standard, and everything is pristine. They have so many lovely little touches, like chocolates on the bed at turn down, and being able to have a dyson airwrap delivered to my room to do my hair (much needed after I forgot my straighteners!). “This was hands down our favorite hotel of the entire trip. From the moment we checked in, everything just felt easy and comfortable — which meant so much since I’m currently pregnant and moving a little slower these days. “Just had a wonderful 4 day/3 night stay at LPV. Can't say enough about how nice this hotel is. We had a room overlooking the waterfront (a must). Rooms were really nice as was the hotel bar and restaurant. But, the best feature of LPV is the staff. They coordinated a few trips/transfers for us and made life super easy in Venice. “Perfectly located hotel just steps from St Marks Square, and convenient boat access. Rooms are beautiful however hotel is located on a somewhat noisy street. We happened to be staying at a time that windows needed to be open because air conditioning was not switched over, so a little noisy for sleeping. The breakfast room has some beautiful paintings as well and worth a visit if you are not enjoying their breakfast buffet. “We spent three days at the Danieli. A major advantage of the hotel is its location by St. Mark’s Square, along with the beautiful view of the lagoon from the window. The hotel has an incredible, romantic atmosphere, a stunning hall and lobby, and the charming Terrazza restaurant, which arguably offers the most beautiful view in all of Venice. “San Clemente is a great choice for those who want to avoid the crowds of Mestre. Obviously having to take the shuttle to San Marco can be a pain, and takes some planning, but once one steps off the boat at San Clemente, one feels the sense that this is going to be a delightful stay. The island on which San Clemente is situated is beautiful and tranquil with mature landscaping. The common spaces are extraordinarily beautiful, and one can clearly tell that this used to be a monastery—although I doubt the former residents took a vow of poverty.
