“For my birthday we booked a room at The Four Seasons Hotel on Market and I must say our stay was INCREDIBLE. From the valet to the front desk, to the restaurant and bar, every single interaction we had was professional and pleasant. The room was huge with lots of natural light and offered a great view of Yerba Buena Garden. The most satisfying and minute detail that made me happy was the water pressure. The shower water felt so good you didn’t want to get out and the water was hot instantly. I also loved that the bathtub had very cool vintage water spout. “Beautiful hotel. Very clean and modern. Would get 5 star for rooms if it were not for bathtub/shower combo with weird shower curtain. I do not think they realize how outdated that concept really is. “We recently stayed at Argonaut Hotel with our kids and had a great experience. The hotel is beautiful, with spacious, well-designed rooms and lots of historic character. The location is excellent—within easy walking distance of Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, and Buena Vista Cafe. We've spent the last 20 years visiting San Francisco and usually stay around Nob Hill, so staying near the Wharf was a change for us. “This was a great spot to stay in SF. It was in a nice area, close to activities, transportation, coffee, bar. The rooms were very comfortable and they were great with housecleaning. The shower water pressure was EXCELLENT. The desk was super polite and responsive. I asked for extra pillows and they sent them up right away. The breakfast was nice, I was definitely happy with the omelet and vanilla waffles. Wifi was included and very effective for a day of work. The only criticism is that the hallways and public areas are a little dated although still elegant. Also the restaurant was pretty slow” — Jared C
