“We've stayed in a lot of excellent hotels around the world, and this one is without question our favorite. The location and the ability to go to the falls at sunrise and sunset fantastic, but the hotel does everything right. Our room was incredibly comfortable and beautiful, and the whole building is a delight, including the pool and outdoor spaces. “Not worth the money, not worth a reservation, not worth our time or respect. We scheduled a brunch on Easter six months in advance, yet they didn’t have a table for us. The waiter kept pushing us to start serving ourselves because the table was ‘almost ready’—which never happened. After an hour, we left, and no one cared that we were leaving. It was really fun watching people eat and enjoy their Easter treats. Don’t waste your time. “I recently stayed at the Emiliano Hotel, and it was unquestionably one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. After a grueling 13‑hour flight, I politely requested an early check‑in. Instead of showing any flexibility or empathy, the staff curtly informed me, “Check‑in is at 3 p.m. and not before.” This absolute lack of accommodation for a weary traveler was extremely disappointing. “We loved our stay. The location at the end of the strip for the beach front was perfect , almost private! The beach front chair and umbrella area exclusive to Fairmont guests was so nice. The hotel pools had more tha enough chairs with awesome staff service. Breakfast buffet views and service were excellent. Staff all spoke extremely fluent English. Wifi was strong and even reached the beach area. “We were staying in an Airbnb near bela vista and we felt very unsafe. We moved to the canopy by Hilton and they managed to provide early check in and a great room. The area feels very safe. Unfortunately whilst out we had our phone stolen in another area, Renato at the front desk was absolutely brilliant in assisting us to fill out forms and anything we needed to help report this.
