“Had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Bel-Air. The property is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and feels very private and relaxing. The rooms, food, and overall atmosphere were top notch. “Do not come to this hotel ever if you don’t want to experience complete ignorance, terrible service and lack of support from the staff. Receptionist named Joy was very unprofessional and mean. We came in the hotel at 10 am after a long flight and we haven’t slept for the entire day. We had a lot of small kids but we knew that the check in time is 3 pm and we were okay with that, but when she said that that they will give us the room later than 3pm because some of their “important” guest have a a special credit card ability that allows him to move out of the room at 4pm, i was completely shocke” — sxnlight2k

“Cons: please update your in room coffee machines, theyre very noisy and not very nice. The in room kettle is also very cheap and doesn't work well. The fridge had a odd smell when I opened it. The electronics were flawed and old basically. However. Pros: Stayed at this location with my cat as a los angeles local while my home was being worked on. Had a wonderful stay, used the room service plenty and the concierge plenty as it was a stay-cation. Extremely relaxing. Nice pool though it is modest sized. “We have stayed at The Beverley Hills Hotel a few times and absolute love it! From the moment you arrive, the outside staff greet you with warmth and professionalism. The valet manager is so nice and remembered my name after meeting me one time. The front desk staff is the best, nothing else to say about that! Lisa, the concierge, is great. “While most of my business is closer to Beverly Hills, I choose to stay here because the service is top notch. Even for a Ritz Carlton, the quality here is best of the best. The pool is shared with the JW, but its large enough that it still doesn't ever feel crowded. And the spa is right there which makes its one of the best spots for a luxury off day to just relax and do some self-care. The rooms are quiet too which I put a high value on. “The Proper Hotel was absolutely superb! The hotel was amazing and had wonderful character and history. The staff (particularly Vanessa) was outstanding— super friendly and responsive.
